Neat and beautiful handwriting always seeks the attention of others.
When we see a person, we judge him by his or her  appearance and with his or her personality. But when we see someone's written work, we judge him by his or her  handwriting. Handwriting is a part of our identity and is an essential tool for communication. The process of handwriting promotes clear thought and tells about the personality of a person. Beautiful and neat handwriting is a skill and to develop awareness and love for good handwriting, 
Every student have their own font and can be  encouraged to present their best handwriting.. The importance of good handwriting was re-emphasized through the competition. The competition brings  out the talent and creativity of the students.

Interview taken by Young reporter student Ms Ekta  :
Mr. Atul Chauhan is a professional calligrapher and has a past in Aviation. He is a motivational speaker and a handwriting expert. He also runs an Institute training kids to inculcate good handwriting. Mr. Atul said that handwriting is an asset and it is very important for a child to develop the skill of good handwriting and neat presentation shows that a child is confident about what he writes. Many children face problem in maintaining good handwriting as they need to increase their speed while writing as they grow up. To this problem, Atul sir told that the children should practice one paragraph each day either from a newspaper or from their own syllabus textbooks. He highly appreciated the initiative taken by LML school as well as The Open page. 
 
Mrs. Ranjana Argade judged the Hindi handwriting competition. She is a lady who has got a rich vocabulary in Hindi. She said that the fact is that all the subjects have their script in English that's why children are not so interested in Hindi. She also suggested the children to develop a habit of reading and writing Hindi regularly.
