Vijay Diwas is commemorated every 16 December in India as it marks its Military victory over Pakistan in 1971 during the ‘Indo-Pakistan War ‘of 1971, who were alliance of ‘Bangladesh Mukti Bahini’. The 93000 soldiers of Pakistan surrendered against our 5000 Indian soldiers and that’s how the 1971 war ended. On December 16 every year citizens, senior officials, students and was veterans lay wreaths and remember the sacrifice of the soldiers. Members of parliament Mr. Rajiv Chandra Shekhar’ who has continued to support the ex serviceman and the armed forces and pursued on rank one pension, says “Don’t let down our heroes, as we commemorate Vijay Diwas.
